Zen gardening, insane cats and the written word

It's been a nasty couple of weeks with two research projects colliding in time and leaving me no time to write.

That in turn has made me cranky because I always get cranky when I can't write.

And I'm pretty sure I now have the plague. Glad I had both the flu shot and pneumovax this year (really it's my yearly sinusitis/laryngitis/bronchitis) but I like to be melodramatic and whiny. Especially when Mom has told me to take my request to come make me soup because I'm sick and ask the cat.

So far all he's done is nibble of my toes to see if I'm dead yet.

Finished a book, Libriomancer by Hines. Loved it. Review to follow once I'm actually alive again (though there is something in it that might be squicky for some)
